Bright Modern Kitchen Surface Update – Bothell

This kitchen project in Bothell was designed to brighten and modernize an outdated space while keeping the existing layout. When the clients reached out, their kitchen felt dark and closed-in due to worn flooring, laminate countertops, and heavy finishes. The goal was a timeless look that felt cleaner, lighter, and easier to maintain, without sacrificing warmth or everyday practicality.

The plan focused on strategic upgrades with high impact. Existing cabinets were refinished and repainted to transform the space without a full tear-out, while new premium surfaces elevated the overall look. Quartz countertops and a reflective handmade-look backsplash helped maximize light, and updated flooring added warmth and contrast.

The team also completed electrical and lighting improvements, sink and faucet upgrades, and careful appliance alignment. With thorough prep to prevent adhesion and leveling issues, the project stayed smooth from start to finish and was completed in about 4 to 5 weeks.

The final result blends coastal calm with modern function, creating a kitchen that feels light, spacious, and timeless.
